Objectives

The scorecard measures the achievement of goals. Participants will be guided by making a list of about 6 objectives, how it is currently measured and how it should be improved. The new measurement should show an improvement. Participants shall  Identify drivers for a HR Balance scorecard, align objectives to corporate goals, Prioritise the significant core objectives and evaluate the value of the HR measurements.

Workshop Leader

Mr Terence Lim has more than 28 years of professional Human Resources experience.  His areas of competencies include balanced scorecard, strategy planning, recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, coaching, employee/union relations, employee communications, and training and development. Over a period of about 20 years, he has worked in a number of foreign and local companies including Glaxo Pharmaceuticals, KPMG Peat Marwick, American Express, City Gas Pte Ltd and Prosafe Production Services.  He has also worked in senior HR positions in a number of financial institutions including Standard Chartered Bank, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Temasek Holdings. In the area of training, Terence has successfully conducted courses and seminars on Balanced Scorecard strategy, Supervisory Skills, How To Be A Leader, Working with Others Successfully, Performance Appraisals, and Interviewing Skills. Over the last 7 years, he has also provided customized HR consultancy services for many corporations including a giant retail corporation, a major air courier company, a large stationery distributor, and an established food manufacturer.
