Martin Gabriel began his career with the Ministry of Manpower as an Inspector enforcing the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act. His 3 years with the Ministry provided Martin with the experience of understanding labour regulations and was an inspiration in his decision to make Human Resources his career after leaving the government service.
With more than 20 years of experience as a HR Practitioner, Martin embarked upon forming a HR community that is the biggest, and most vibrant in Singapore. Martin is presently the Chairman and founder of HRmatters21, an online HR interest group which provides a vibrant forum with HR issues being discussed. As a Senior HR Consultant / Advisor, Martin provides advice & consultancy to numerous companies in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Martin is also involved in the development of Human Resources in Singapore.
With his vast experience in Human Resources, he has been engaged by many companies to draft or review their HR policies and employment contracts.
Martin’s experience has also expanded into training. To date, over 6,000 HR personnel and Managers from Non-HR functions have attended his training programmes. Martin holds a Bachelor of Commerce with double major from the University of Tasmania and a Diploma in HRM.

Kevin Lee formed his professional boutique consultancy and advisory firm specializing in corporate structuring and restructuring, enterprise tax risk management and corporate advisory services under the brand name “RYSAAC (睿鉴 隴西)” in early 2005. Charles Wong is a registered consultant with MOM-WDA for Flexible Wage system (FWS). As a Consultant, Charles has developed and implemented various management systems, these are Compensation and Rewards, formulating salary range and setting standards for Key Performance Indicators for non-profit organization, SMEs as well as MNCs. Charles expertise has also expanded to the Asian region. His expert views were also sort after by countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China. His consultancy work focuses on HR Management and HR Development. In Singapore, Charles assisted numerous companies in achieving People Developer Standards as well as ISO Quality Management System.
Susan Amy is originally from the United Kingdom, where she graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London with a B.A. Honours in English Literature. She holds the Royal Society of Arts Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She keeps her interest in human communications vital and up-to-date by working with people in companies to understand their communication challenges.
At present, she is studying counselling in Singapore. She is also currently preparing for her MSc in Psychology (Organisational Behaviour) with the University of London. Susan is an accredited trainer for the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and for MBTI team building.
Theresa Lee is presently a Senior HR Consultant, Coach and Facilitator. Theresa was a practitioner in human resource management and development (HRD) and held senior managerial positions in MNCs of US, British, German and French origin. Her areas of responsibilities cover the management of companyâ€™s overall function in Human Resource Management, training and management development, both local and Asia Pacific. Sean Lee hails from Penang Island, Malaysia and is a Consulting Director. He has a modest 18 years of experience in Human Resource and holds two degrees; Bachelors in Business Administration from American City University and Bachelor of Law from University of London. Prior to establishing his own HR Consulting company.
Sean’s experience expends across multiple industries. He held the position of HR Program Manager, APAC-RPO with a leading US based Outsourcing and Consulting Group. He was also an Operations Manager at a plastics manufacturing company then an HR Manager in a wood based furniture and metal sheet.

Rachel P. Follosco

RACHEL P. FOLLOSCO received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines in 1993, graduating third in her class, and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1994. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines in 1988, with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy.
From 1993 to 1996, she worked with the Philippine firm associated with Baker & McKenzie, where she specialized in the Tax, Commercial, and Corporate practice areas of the firm. She has extensive exposure in international taxation, tax structuring, and tax planning in relation to property acquisition, financing, and capital investment transactions.
In the corporate field, she has extensive experience in assisting foreign investors in the registration of their Philippine business entities, structuring of their Philippine investments, and addressing their other common legal concerns concerning their business operations, including all regulatory compliance. She authored/co-authored and updates the Philippine section of the International Tax and Investment Service (published by Tolley Lexis Nexis), International Joint Ventures (published by Kluwer Law International), International Secured Transactions (published by Thomson Reuters) and International Banking Law and Regulation (published by Thomson Reuters). Sugeng Barkah, CHRM is one of the founder of ‘Human Capital 4Us Community’ (hc4us Community). The community goal is to leverage competencies of HR Practitioners and deliver a platform for learning objectives, by providing guidance through organising training & workshops. Most notably are the creation of salary grades and wage structures. An expert in Industrial Relations (IR), and formulating company regulations, Barkah boast of over 20 years of experience. Barkah’s hands-on experience comes from his experience in the Oil and Gas industry (Chevron Indonesia), which is one of the biggest in Indonesia. His HR experience at the private sector includes creating a competency matrix, job analysis, training need analysis, work load analysis and performance management system. Among his most notable accomplishment is his ability to formulate wage structure / salary scale, which includes compensation and benefit. He has also negotiated numerous collective labour agreements over the last several years.
Barkah is also as an Independent Consultant since 2011 with a Certified Human Resources Management qualification with over 15 years of experience in comprehensive HR matters especially in manpower affairs. He has conducted over a hundred HR workshops for the last 2 years. His expertise was called upon by the courts as an expert witness in industrial relation cases and disputes.
