Martin Gabriel began his career with the Ministry of Manpower (Singapore) as an Inspector, enforcing the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act. During his three years with the Ministry, he developed a deep understanding of labour regulations — an experience that inspired him to pursue a lifelong career in Human Resources.
With more than 25 years of HR experience, Martin is now the Chairman and Founder of HRmatters21, an established online HR interest group and professional forum where HR issues are actively discussed. Under his leadership, the community has grown to include over 3,000 HR professionals across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
As a Senior HR Consultant and Advisor, Martin has provided guidance and consultancy services to hundreds of companies throughout the region, helping organisations navigate complex employment matters and strengthen compliance with labour laws.
An accomplished author, Martin has written five Human Resource books, each focusing on practical applications of employment legislation and HR case studies. His works are widely used as reference materials among HR professionals and business leaders.
Beyond consulting, Martin is a passionate trainer and educator. To date, more than 6,200 HR practitioners and line managers have attended his training programmes, benefiting from his expertise in employment law, performance management, and HR best practices.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Double Major) from the University of Tasmania and a Diploma in Human Resource Management. He remains actively involved in advancing the HR profession and fostering continuous learning within the HR community.

Kevin Lee
Kevin Lee, FCCA (UK), CPA, CGA (Canada), MSc (London, UK), MTax (Singapore)
Kevin specialise in providing actionable advice, compliance documentation, and systems advice to small to medium businesses as a senior finance professional in many different industries in SE Asia and Australia. He works closely with business and professional firms assisting them with technical aspects of FRS and international tax. He is currently the Head of Tax of a practise who has more than two decades of serving the business community.
Kevin has more than 10 years of exam preparation teaching experience, has also consistently maintained high pass rates for the various exam preparatory courses. He also marks exams, write questions and do other work for academic institutions (Motivational revision lessons).
Collaborated strategically with several professional firms, including audit firms, management consultancy and corporate advisory companies and a global company that provides information, software, and services to professionals in four main areas: healthcare, tax, law and finance, management consultancy and corporate advisory companies to adequately provide international tax services, including Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Charles Wong
Charles Wong is a registered consultant with MOM-WDA for Flexible Wage system (FWS). As a Consultant, Charles has developed and implemented various management systems, these are Compensation and Rewards, formulating salary range and setting standards for Key Performance Indicators for non-profit organization, SMEs as well as MNCs. Charles expertise has also expanded to the Asian region. His expert views were also sort after by countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China. His consultancy work focuses on HR Management and HR Development. In Singapore, Charles assisted numerous companies in achieving People Developer Standards as well as ISO Quality Management System.

Susan Amy
Susan Amy is originally from the United Kingdom, where she graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London with a B.A. Honours in English Literature. She holds the Royal Society of Arts Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She keeps her interest in human communications vital and up-to-date by working with people in companies to understand their communication challenges.
At present, she is studying counselling in Singapore. She is also currently preparing for her MSc in Psychology (Organisational Behaviour) with the University of London. Susan is an accredited trainer for the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and for MBTI team building.

Clara Htoo Thant Sin
Our Myanmar based HR/IR Consultant
Clara Htoo Thant Sin is the Managing Director of a HR Consulting firm – in Myanmar, which was established in August 2017. Her company specializes in HR solutions & Training services for SME companies and Corporations in Myanmar, which aims to build a strong & efficient workforce. The Company Recently won Myanmar Employer Award 2018 for Best Use of Rewards & Recognitions (Silver) by Deloitte and Job Net Myanmar.
Clara is also a Certified HR Professional with over 12 years of experiences in comprehensive HR disciplines. She previously worked at one of the largest Airport Logistics companies and also at HR & Recruitment Consulting Company in Singapore and actively involved in regional HR Functions and training & development. She is also the lead for company`s Workforce development and retaining talents.
She relocated back to Myanmar and took up contractual assignments as change agent for Conglomerate Companies in Myanmar and gradually started her own firm. Her company has been providing custom made HR & Organizational development solutions to start up, SMEs and conglomerate large corporations in Myanmar. She is also a lead facilitator of Employability Skills Development Programme which were uniquely designed for working professionals and government officials by herself and team and programme was officially certified by CPD UK. She has been actively supporting underprivileged children, university students and fresh graduates, government officials by providing free programs to increase opportunities for employment and capacity development. She and her team had been conducting 12 workshops for the past 8 months and also extending her support to Government departments, Schools and Universities across Myanmar to help them improve their skills & unlock their full potential.

Juliana Laura Tompodung
Our Indonesian based HR/IR Consultant
Juliana obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Indonesia in 1999. She started her career in a law firm with specialization in Labor Law, Corporate Banking and Litigation with extensive experience handling a wide range of employment issues including employment contracts, social security, employee termination due to heavy violation, M&A process, organizational restructuring, redundancy, review company regulations, represent company dealing with labor union on negotiation of collective labour agreement.
She was leaving her lawyering activity and switched her career to be a HR professional. With 20 years of HR experience in various industry such as Telecommunication, Manufacturing, Foreign Government, Hospitality and Oil and Gas sectors, she has been proficient in the design and implementation of Human Resources practices, including Industrial and Employee Relations, Manpower Planning, Organization Development, Performance Management, People Development Learning, Reward and Expatriate Affairs. She was awarded as Qualified Management Training Programme Trainer from AOTS (The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnership) Japan in 2016.
She is also the founder of HR Migas Community, a non profit group of Indonesian HR Professional in the oil and gas industry including upstream, midstream, downstream and oil services sectors. She is also one of the founding partner of PEACE HR society, people enthusiast and connection enabler. A HR community based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
