Overview:
“Scams” / “Ransomware” / “Phishing” / Social Engineering” etc
In today’s hyper-connected world, cyber threats are growing in both sophistication and frequency. In Singapore, scams and cyber-attacks are on the rise, particularly targeting companies of all sizes. From phishing and business email compromise to ransomware and insider threats, no organization is immune.
The weakest link in cybersecurity? People.
Many staff members remain unaware of the various methods scammers use, fail to spot red flags, or are simply not trained to protect sensitive information. This lack of awareness creates dangerous vulnerabilities that can result in severe financial and reputational damage.
The Growing Problem
Year after year, reports of scams, data breaches, and ransomware attacks dominate the news. Cybercriminals are evolving quickly, using social engineering, AI-generated scams, and other advanced techniques. In Singapore alone, we’ve seen a sharp spike in cyber incidents involving local firms – often due to a simple lapse in attention or knowledge.
Many businesses focus on growth and operations but overlook prevention and protection—two critical pillars of cybersecurity.
